Freehold Township 4 Saint Rose 4

A back and forth affair in Wall saw Freehold Township and Saint Rose trade the lead before settling on a 4-4 tie on Friday night.  The Patriots Brendan Liebross gave Freehold Township a 2-1 lead at the end of one period.  After an Alex Phipps power play goal, Max Halvorsen sent the Patriots into the locker room with a 3-2 lead at the end of two.  Phipps scored in the opening minute of the third period and a redirect shot by Will Lemonie gave the Purple Roses a 4-3 lead with nine minutes to go.  Sullo’s goal with 3:13 to go was the final score of the night as Nick Raiola made a spectacular save as time expired to preserve the tie.  Saint Rose is on a 3-0-1 streak in its last four games while Freehold Township earns its first tie of the season with a 5-3-1 mark.  Watch some great action from both teams:
