SSZ has extended highlights and post-game reaction of two fantastic semifinal matchups at Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.  Saint John Vianney held off Saint Rose and Dara Mabrey and Manasquan topped RFH in OT.  Watch all the action!

Carly Geissler broke a 52-52 tie with a three pointer in the extra session to get Manasquan back to the title game.  Dara Mabrey hit a three pointer with 5 seconds to go in regulation to put Manasquan in front 50-49.  RFH’s Nicole Morris drew a foul attempting to win the game with one second to go.  After missing the first free throw, Morris delivered the game tying shot to force OT.  Stella Clark had 26 points to lead the Lady Warriors, while Morris was the leader in RFH scoring with 15.

Kelly Campbell made six free throws in the final minute to hold off the Purple Roses.  The senior guard finished the game with 12 points.  Saint Rose came back form a 10 point second half deficit to close within 51-48 after a Lucy Thomas three pointer.  But Campbell made all of her free throws and freshman Sarah Karpell added two more to preserve the victory.  Kimi Evans led a balanced attack with 14 points for SJV; Ellyn Stoll had a career high 23 in the defeat.
