In our Manasquan Bank Game of the Week, the Lady Warriors of Manasquan win their third consecutive Central Jersey Group 2 championship with a 56-30 win at home over Rumson-Fair Haven. The Lady Warriors had four players in double digits headlined by a big spark by Nikki Stevens off the bench with 12 in a dominating performance against their “A” Central rival. The last time these two teams met, Manasquan needed overtime to score 61-58 win in the Shore Conference semifinals. In their 4th meeting of the season, Manasquan got six straight points from Stevens to end the first quarter to take a 15-10 lead. A 24-17 halftime lead swelled to 20 after a tremendous third quarter. Faith Masonius had 15, Addie Masonius added 13 and Dara Mabrey scored. 10. RFH’s season comes to a close with a 22-7 record as Tori Hyduke led the way with 15 in the loss. Rutgers Prep 65 Saint Rose 47 – Non Public “B” South Finals
Jahsyni Knight scored 21 and Nikki Metzel added 18 as the Argonauts avenged a loss to the Purple Roses in last year’s state playoffs. Ellyn Stoll led Saint Rose with 15 and guard Mikayla Markham added 14. The Purple Roses finish the year with a 25-5 record:
