LAWRENCEVILLE – Madison Maguire scored four goals, highlighted by a first half hat trick, to lead Rumson-Fair Haven to a 6-0 win over Shore Regional in the play-in game of the Tournament of Champions at Rider University.  Maguire scored a hat trick in the first half to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 halftime lead.  Lily Croddick and Abigail Donohue scored in the second half, before Maguire closed out the scoring.  RFH advances to a matchup with #1 seed and unbeaten Eastern on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in Lawrenceville.  The Bulldogs are the Group 2 State Champions with a 24-0-2 record.

It was the third meeting between the two Shore Conference state champions.  Following a 1-1 tie, RFH ended the Blue Devils 16 year reign as Shore Conference champs with a 2-0 win in Hazlet.  Shore Regional, under first year head coach Kelly Koenig, finished with a 21-5-2 record and the Group 1 State Championship.
