Manasquan’s Marina Mabrey was named co-MVP of the McDonald’s All-American Game featuring the top high school basketball players in the nation

CHICAGO – Manasquan’s Marina Mabrey has earned almost every accolade a high school girls basketball player can think of.  The final one came at the home of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls.  The future Notre Dame women’s basketball player had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists to earn co-MVP honors in the East’s 89-87 win over the West in the McDonald’s All-American game.  Mabrey was named MVP of the East squad, with future Tennessee Volunteer Te’a Cooper getting honors for the West.

Mabrey was named Shore Sports Zone’s 2015 Miss Hoop Zone voted as the top girls basketball player in the Shore Conference by the head coaches.  Watch our feature to learn more about her journey to becoming one of the best high school basketball players in the nation:
