Tyree Morris led the Green Wave with 16 points and Kaymar Mimes added a dozen as Long Branch raced out to a 50-17 halftime lead against Al-Ghazaly out of Jersey City and finished with a 66-41 victory. Seven players scored six points or more for Long Branch, who are now on a four game win streak and are over the .500 mark at 5-4. Long Branch High hosted its first edition of the Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship tournament with Asbury Park, Matawan and Neptune competing among the eight team field.
