Shane Haviland had a hat trick thanks to two shorthanded goals and a power play tally to pace Wall to an opening round win in the Dowd Cup. The Crimson Knights scored back to back shorthanded goals in the span of 21 seconds to take a 2-0 lead after one period. Wall had three shorthanded goals and four power play scores. Steve Karanassos had two goals along with single goals for Larry Hooper, Zach Tarantino and Jack Textor. The Crimson Knights advance to face the winner of Saint Rose and Point Pleasant Boro in the semifinals of the Dowd Cup. Watch the highlights from an impressive effort by the #3 seed:
