Senior Vin Guerra came through with a strikeout with the bases loaded in the 7th inning to preserve a 4-3 win at Freehold Township.  SSZ has highlights from a fantastic game on Saturday morning

Brick Memorial 4 Freehold Township 3

Ray Lutick’s RBI single up the middle in the 6th inning drove home the winning run as the Mustangs scored their 2nd win of the season with a 4-3 win at Freehold Township.  Trailing 3-2 in the 6th, Mike Sullivan tied the game with an RBI single.  He would steal second base and score the go ahead run on Lutick’s base hit.  In the 7th, Freehold Township had runners on first and third with one out.  Reliever Vin Guerra got a pop up to first base and then intentionally walked Ryan Ford who hit a two-run homer earlier in the game.  With the bases loaded and two outs, Guerra delivered the strikeout to get the save.  Lutick pitched six innings to get the victory.  A great game played by both teams and some fantastic highlights – watch below:
