Monmouth Regional rallied for three runs in the bottom of the 7th to get a 4-3 win over Middletown South and clinch a share of the “B” North division championship. The Falcons put together a three run rally in the bottom of the seventh to walk-off against the Eagles. Robby Zega hit a solo homer in the second inning and the Eagles added two more runs in the fifth inning to take a 3-0 lead. Monmouth Regional scored a run on an error in the sixth and then knocked out Eagles starter John Martin in the bottom of the seventh after reaching the 110 pitch limit. Liam Kyle hit a two run single to right field to tie the game at three setting the stage for heroics from Josh Jackson. The Monmouth Regional catcher blasted a high fly ball to right center that dropped and plated the game winning run. Monmouth Regional has clinched a share of the “B” North title and can win the championship outright with a win at Ocean Township on Tuesday.
