It was an historic night in Rumson as Brendan Barry became the Bulldogs all-time leading scorer.  SSZ has extended highlights and post-game reaction of RFH’s 53-48 win over Manasquan in the Manasquan Bank Game of the Week

Rumson-Fair Haven 53 Manasquan 48

Brendan Barry scored 23 points, including a three pointer to beat the first half buzzer to make him RFH’s all-time leading scorer.  Barry’s triple to end the 2nd gave his 16 points in the first half and surged him past Palvin Williams as the Bulldogs all-time leading scorer.  Williams, a 1973 Rumson graduate, flew in from the Dominican Republic to witness the record breaking moment which stood for 43 years.  RFH handed the Warriors its first loss of the season.  Manasquan dominated Chris Champeau’s team on opening night 55-33, but RFH did not have Barry in the lineup due to a broken hand.  Ryan Jensen led Manasquan with 19 points and 15 rebounds.  Watch all the great moments and interviews from a great game between two Shore Conference powers:
