In the Ocean County Tournament quarterfinals, Jared Kacso pitched a complete game for Barnegat getting out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 7th to help the Bengals to a 4-3 win at previously unbeaten Point Pleasant Boro. The Bengals built a 4-0 lead on the road in the Ocean County Tournament and held off a late rally by the Panthers to hand the #1 seed its first loss of the season. Barnegat beat Point Boro in the season opener, but the game was forfeited due to Jason Groome being ruled ineligible due to transfer rules by the NJSIAA. Point Boro got a 2 run homer from Frank Graziano and an RBI single by Tom Paul to cut the lead to 4-3. Jared Kacso pitched through numerous jams to go the distance and get the win. He got a great diving catch by Eric Becker in the 6th to save a run and then delivered back to back strikeouts with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. Watch all the highlights here:
