Middletown North forward and SSZ All-Zone hockey selection Khristian Acosta has committed to play Division I hockey at Quinnipiac
Middletown North hockey standout Khristian Acosta is on his way to the Division I hockey ranks. The Shore Sports Zone All-Zone hockey pick in 2015 has given a verbal commitment to play for the Quinnipiac Bobcats, making the announcement via his Twitter account:

The junior led the Lions with 32 goals and 42 assists for 74 points on the way to Middletown North’s first ever state championship on the ice.
Quinnipiac plays in the ECAC and went 23-12-4 and reaching the NCAA Division I hockey tournament losing to North Dakota in the opening round.
