Colts Neck’s Noelle Frost captured the final regular season Monmouth Building Center Game Ball
COLTS NECK – Colts Neck’s girls basketball team is on a roll scoring a first round upset win at Brick Memorial. Noelle Frost scored 22 points in the 51-44 win that gave the #11 seed an upset over #6. Frost picked up 10,990 votes during the final week of the regular season to earn a Monmouth Building Center Game Ball after scoring 20 points in a win over Wall. The Lady Cougars travel to Sayreville in round two of the Central Jersey Group 4 playoffs.
Monmouth Building Center in Shrewsbury is the reason we can give Game Balls to athletes on the Jersey Shore. It started in the fall with football season and continued this winter with boys and girls basketball. Coming up at our SSZ Winter Sports banquet on March 26th, we’ll honor post-season Game Balls starting with Julia Valkos of Middletown South and Neptune’s Barry Brown from the Shore Conference Tournament as well as any state champions.
