Freehold Boro running back voted top play for week zero as part of his 219 yard, 4 TD performance against Middletown North
FREEHOLD – Freehold Boro running back Josh Dixon captured the first Shore Sports Zone Game Ball for his week zero performance in the Colonials 26-14 opening victory at Middletown North. Dixon had 219 yards rushing, 4 touchdowns and an interception. His 4th touchdown run, a 60 yard gallop in the 4th quarter was voted top play of the week in balloting on shoresportszone.com. Freehold Boro takes on Freehold Township in a battle of 1-0 teams this Friday night at 6:30 pm.
This week with a full slate of week one games, SSZ will post voting for the top play once again as well as the top individual performance. Every Wednesday, we will visit the practice fields and hand out a pair of SSZ Game Balls.
