The WindMill has teamed up with Shore Sports Zone to salute teams who are winners on and off the field. Our first WindMill Winners Circle features the Point Pleasant Boro football team who play a weekly game against the Point Pleasant Pirates Challenger flag football team
Shore Sports Zone has teamed up with the WindMill to salute outstanding high school teams in Monmouth and Ocean County. The WindMill Winners Circle is much more than wins and losses. We’re looking for teams that are champions off the field as well. Our first profile is the Point Pleasant Boro football team who is currently 7-0 on the season. The Panthers work twice a week with the Point Pleasant Challenge flag football team. These special needs athletes practice every Thursday after the Panthers varsity football practice and play a game on Sunday morning against the Point Boro football team. We paid a visit to both squads for a special Saturday night showdown under the lights at Point Pleasant Boro High:
